Family-Owned. Nebraska-Built.
Scott and Ryan Stara grew up in David City, Nebraska, with a pretty simple idea: build something BIG, and build it together.
A lot of companies tell you they’re “like a family” around here. We don’t need the “like.” Four Staras work at our Omaha upfitting shop, including Scott and Ryan’s dad, Dave. Walk through our facility and you’re not meeting a sales team. You’re meeting the people whose name is behind the business.
That’s not just a nice detail, it’s how we operate. Being family-owned means we answer to each other and to you, not to a corporate office somewhere else. It means we sweat the details on every project, we stand behind the upfitting work we do, fleet or personal vehicle, and we’ll still be here next year when you need the next one.
Plenty of shops can bolt a shelf into a van. The difference here is who is doing the work and what they have riding on it. Every build that leaves our Omaha bay carries our name on it, and it goes out to the contractors, tradespeople, and fleet managers who cannot afford a vehicle that fights them all day.
No corporate office somewhere else signs off on your build. The people who quote your project, plan your layout, and install your equipment answer to the owners — and to you — and they are still here next year when you need the next vehicle done.
We are the sister company of Revolution Wraps, a vehicle wrap and graphics studio. That relationship means your upfit and your branding can be coordinated through two teams that already work side by side.
Our focus is commercial: service vans, work trucks, box trucks, and fleet vehicles. We design around tools, parts, cargo weight, and the daily routine of your crew, not showroom looks.
We install products from Sortimo, Holman, WeatherGuard, Legend, and TruckVault — manufacturers with reputations we trust enough to put our own alongside.
We are not an accessory counter that hands you a box. Every shelving system, partition, and rack we sell is fitted, mounted, and finished by our own team — which is where sweating the details actually happens.
No pressure and no upselling. Tell us what your vehicle needs to do, and we will recommend a configuration that fits — beginning with a simple quote request.
Revolution Upfitting is a family-owned upfitter based in Omaha, NE and serving Lincoln and the region, and the sister company of Revolution Wraps. We turn vans, trucks, and box trucks into organized, productive workspaces with shelving systems, ladder racks, partitions, and secure storage from brands like Sortimo, Holman, and WeatherGuard. Whether you run one service van or manage an entire fleet, we build every upfit around the way your crew actually works — and we stand behind the results. Request a quote or explore our upfitting services to see what we can do for your vehicles.
Revolution Wraps built its reputation on vehicle graphics; Revolution Upfitting applies the same customer-first mindset to what happens inside and around the vehicle. The two companies are separate specialists — wraps and graphics on one side, vehicle upfitting on the other — but they share ownership, values, and a habit of sweating the details. If your project calls for an organized interior and a branded exterior, the relationship makes coordination simple.
Some customers arrive with a single cargo van and a plan sketched on paper. Others manage dozens of vehicles and need standardized fleet upfitting across every unit. We treat both with the same care:
The relationship rarely ends with the first vehicle, either. Vans get replaced, crews grow, and equipment moves from one chassis to the next. Because we keep records and know your build, adding vehicle two — or vehicle twenty — is easier than the first, and every new upfit stays consistent with the standards your operation has already proven on the road.
Getting to know us also means getting to know the work itself. These are the services our team delivers most often:
steel and aluminum racks, including aerodynamic designs, for vans, trucks, SUVs, and service vehicles.
durable, easy-to-clean floor, wall, and ceiling protection systems for work and cargo vans.
shelving, tie-downs, and workspace builds that turn a box truck interior into a mobile shop.
non-slip access solutions in aluminum and steel for trucks, vans, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.
